Metalworks carries two grades of aluminum products . . . Standard (residential) and Elite (heavy residential/commercial). All metal fence and railing items are powder coated for durability. 

We recommend staying in the aluminum offerings if you want less maintenance and a rust-free finished product.  Steel offerings add additional security and strength but will require more maintenance at the time of installation and over the years to keep your steel fence or steel railing looking and performing its best.
